Cookies would be her first choice, but scrambled eggs are a close second for this daughter of egg farmers to have for lunch most days. @polaregg #northernagriculture #nwtfood

Over the last several weeks, our company has been discussing our role in this significantly challenging time as a result of COVID-19. Companies are made up of people; people with children, partners, siblings, parents and grandparents. We care about each of them deeply, and we care about you as well. Polar Egg is owned and operated by the Wallington family. We live here, grew up here and are raising our families in the North. Each day, our team is coming to work on the far...m and grading station to ensure that you have access to fresh, local eggs. We are taking the following steps to ensure the health and safety of our workers, our facilities, our hens and the eggs that are being served in your home and ours. These measures include: Heightened bio-security protocols Social distancing in the workplace Mandatory self-isolation for any employees that have travelled outside of the NWT Reducing our staff to essential services Increased sanitation in the workplace We are proud to produce eggs for our neighbours and appreciate your ongoing support. Be safe, stay healthy and know that we are doing all we can to support you through this time.
