On Sunday morning we went skiing in memory of Hans Bosshard. We went out in an early morning training session as we had done so many times with Hans. Today Poley welcomes a new group of level 1 Ski instructors! The worked hard in their training and are now ready to teach! This is the first group to complete the Hans Bosshard Apprentice Program. Hans was an inspiration to all of us and responsible for certifying and training more instructors at Poley than anyone. The program gives the usual level 1 content and 12 more hours of training. Through the season apprentices can be employed with the Snow School to help with lessons and receive all the training need for their level 1 test.

The season is getting close! We are having our preseason training next weekend (Nov. 23). Any former instructors or anyone looking for information on becoming and instructor can contact the Snow School. 433-7669
