CORRECTION: After further research I have read that Ontario salons offering any services on the face such as eyebrow or facial treatments are not permitted to open during this Phase 2. I want to thank my Amazing, Patient, Awesome clients who literally blew up my phone and FB & Instagram messenger yesterday. I felt the Love. We will be together soon! Salons in Ontario have been given the go ahead to re-open on Friday June 12th... There are protocols and new practices that are to be in place prior to me taking on clients this Friday and want to make sure I’m properly prepared. I will be reaching out to many of you. Please reach out to me as well if you haven’t heard from me. I think that with the surge of appointment requests I will keep my Online booking site OFF as I will need to stagger appointments giving me time to clean in between. This is going to be a whole new learning curve for all of us. There are new protocols that everyone will have to follow if they want an appointment. We are NOT accepting walk ins ... If you show up early for your appointment please wait in your vehicle or outside and text me that you’re here. I’ll reply when you can enter Salon. Clients and myself are required to wear a mask at all times. Please bring your own and put it on prior to entry to building. Full names and phone numbers must be provided upon booking for the purpose of contact tracing. If you are experiencing any symptoms of Covid 19 or any other illness, please cancel & rebook your appointment in 2 weeks. A Covid questionnaire will be performed prior to your service. Hand sanitizer station must be used before entry to the Salon. Please don’t bring guests to your appointment. If you have travelled outside Canada, please do NOT book an appointment until you have quarantined for 14 days. Salon hours and appointments are limited to allow for proper sanitization. Covid-19 & Temporary Closure With today’s announcement from Premier Doug Ford, regarding the mandated closure of all Non-Essential services Polished will not be reopening as anticipated on March 30th. If you have a scheduled appointment during the weeks of Monday March 30th to the week Saturday April 11th, I apologize but for the Health & Safety of our community Polished will not be reopening. ... All slotted appointments during that time will be postponed. Polished will reopen when these restrictions are lifted and Non-Essential services are permitted to resume. After a lot of careful thought and consideration, I’ve decided to voluntarily close Polished for the remainder of March in an effort to help protect our community. Given the nature of my work and being in such close proximity with faces, eyes, noses, etc. on a daily basis, I feel it is only necessary for the health of my clients, my family and our community.
