A marked evolution in machines to be sure, but what caught my eye was how one held the door open for the other ;)
An interesting take on the future of education.
This wonderful quote is as poignant today as it was 137 years ago when Lt. Cmdr. De Long wrote it. "[The journey] may be divided into two parts: That which has been, and that which is to be. We are about to turn our backs on the old year and turn our faces toward the new.[...].We have been squeezed and jammed, tossed and tumbled, nipped and pressed...and we are all still here. We face the future with the firm hope of doing something worthy of ourselves.... We are not yet daun...ted. I begin the new year in this book by turning over a new leaf, and I hope to God we are turning over a new leaf on our book of luck." -- Lt. Cmdr. George De Long, explorer and captain of the USS Jeannette, somewhere in the Arctic on the quest for the North Pole, New Year's Eve 1880. May the new year bring you happiness, health and serenity, as well as the realization of your fondest dreams. Bonheur, santé et sérénité, ainsi que la réalisation de tes rêves les plus chers.
Feeling the present purchasing pressure? Take a gander at a few suggestions here - much like the adage of 'give a man a fish and he eats for a day, teach a man to fish and he's fed for life', this blog focuses on the 'HOW' to come up with that great present, rather than the 'what' to buy.
Welcome to our 'Month of Warmth & Kindness', the easiest and most rewarding of 'challenges'. This challenge will not only make you feel warm and cosy but will spread cheer to all those around you. Best of all, here are the things you don't need to worry about: You don’t have to check-in with anyoneexcept yourself... You don’t have to do all the tasks to be successful honestly just doing the bonus task everyday will make things brighter You don’t have to do them in orderpick, chose, omit, or even add your own! AND (in my view this is best of all) you don’t need to sign-up, or give us your email address to access the ‘challenge’it’s all here in this post, ready and waiting for you to save or print or come back to. We'd love you to join in!
