32 days locked down...... they were long days, 24 hours in every last one of them. Here’s my note to self ...Hobbies? everybody needs at least one. Cooking find one thing you can enjoy making and is edible, besides jello. Lists only work when you check them off. When you start a new habit you aren’t supposed to stop, shovelling snow won’t kill you, it’s actually enjoyable in the sunshine, it’s ok you never got into online shopping whatever retailers are left will be thankful..., it’s ok to make the house perfect even though nobody’s coming, you shouldn’t have to rush 14 hours after washing the sheets to put them back on for bed, you don’t have to eat the whole bag of popcorn at one sitting, it’ll keep, wearing the same thing for days won’t hurt, it isn’t a huge commitment to hang the art on the wall at home, you can change it, you better take retiring off your list cause you’re gonna suck at that! There are so many crazy things happening in this world, we’ve got Trumps impeachment, gorilla girl ( honestly that’s just silly - or a word of your choosing) reopen Ontario, don’t reopen, curbside pick up, our economy, house prices in Hamilton, people who think staging isn’t important ( had to get it in there) making a buying decision after viewing a house for 15 mins, COVID19, new strains, 3rd coming .... oh this wasn’t meant to be a downer post haha! It’s just crazy! It must be 5 o’clock somewhere!

Spelling and grammar errors jump off the screen for me! Is it only me? When I am happy with a perfectly spelled swear word it goes to duck.... yet when the grammar is a mess ... it works? The screen is so small and I say too much regularly ( have you seen me on video?) Then I end up with an IG story with an error. Makes me crazy (er) anyone else with me or can you let them fly?

Curly hair product freaks chime in please!!! Okay we gutted our ensuite 2 months ago. I cannot decide on a floor because the last ( beautiful small white ceramic tile - jK I am a stager right the floor was BAD outdated baby) carry on...... all my hair product sat on the floor. My cleaning lady ( who is pretty fierce could not get it off ) Angelo, my guy (feels funny saying BF when you’ve been together so long! Oooos I’ll carry on he is the soap guy ( supplies restaurants, bar...s, retirement homes .... think everywhere you need soap .... he’s your guy) has no answer for the gross feeling floor.... ( I am a slipper chick because of this) ok WHAT do you spray chicks do? I have tried doing it ( easy! Spraying my hair in the tub haha I am now ruining the main bath upstairs as a Science Project)oh and remember I am a stager HATE area rugs!!!! HELP what shall I pick for flooring of new ensuite? Somethings will never change .... like should you or should you not stage before listing vacant. Working on a post I came across this video from February 2019 that Had never been posted. After you’ve viewed the video we want to hear your opinion. Please throw your comments below, are you with us, Y or N? Now even more so than 2019 100% off buyers look online at listings.... if they do not connect emotionally to the home .... it’s a guarantee they will not go thru the proc...ess of donning their masks and trekking to your listing. Kind of crazy what comes up ..... not all beautiful spaces. Haha but lots of black and white! It feels like a million years ago when ML and I attended the YWCA Women of Distinction Awards #nominee . The polka dot masks were a fabulous branding tool but so far we wear the blue disposable masks, feels more breathable to work for hours in them. Oh that tile from @ikea for outdoors really was special!! The reels we did was such a hit, we have to learn how we did that! Haha and do them again! Of course there are two fabulous pics from vacant stages wow did this year. This was fun. Do yours and post let’s see it. Lots to learn and changes to make going forward. to 2021

Take a moment and a big breath, we made it to the other side! We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those sellers and agents who made our 2020 what it was. Lots of ups and downs. No business for months and then everything was a 911! Haha thankfully we thrive - living on the edge! Who knows what 2021 will bring. We wish everyone a healthy 2021 ! ( and of course lots of opportunities to sell beautifully staged properties for more money in less time than the unstaged competition haha! )
