Throw back Monday Motivator today. Roy Tjoa was a high school friend I reconnected with last year. His story was an inspiring one as he shared his story of managing sobriety. A very positive person with a great outlook on life.

I am going to take the advice of @firewifewise and practice her R-therapy by retreating and resting. It has been a crazy year for all of us. Amidst a pandemic I was able to complete a few things from my 2020 vision board: Life Coaching, Horse Groom and turning 50, but man am I tired! Aren't you? When we push ourselves to a point where we shut down that is called burnout. Although I am not at the point of burnout I have been in the past and can now recognize the signs and ...symptoms. I am going to practice what I preach and "embrace my own self-care" by staying away from social media for a while because I want to re-evaluate where I will be and what I will be doing in 2021. I did want to thank all those amazing people who allowed me to interview them and learn about their struggles and accomplishments. There are still many more I want to interview and will be in touch with you in the new year. I wish you all a very relaxing and stress-free holiday as we go into lockdown in the province of Ontario. It is always so refreshing speaking to Aangi. I lovely young lady whom I mentored during her post-secondary educational experience. She really opened my eyes to the challenges that international students may face. I am happy to share that she finished her diploma with grace and precision and is now an active community member helping our marginalized population in the field of Recreation. Aangi you are such a joy to talk to and I wish you all the very best in your career.
