The Przeworsk subregion is the areas of Ga, Kaczuga and areas between extending to Jarosaw. The costumes are varied, depending on status, marital standing, a...nd time period. Woman's vests were enhanced with embroidery or embroidered beadwork. An interesting point is the introduction of plaid fabric for shawls and skirts. (see the several photo examples) Dances specific to this area included: Bandoska, Sarna, Szewc, Szumieszka, Owies, yd, Siano grabaa and Polkas (Przeworska, Pawosiowska, Stawana, Sztajer, Gacok, Suwiec, Zmieniana, Hurra), among others. part of the macro Rzeszów (ZHEH-shoov) region (Ziemia Rzeszowska), and of the Przeworsk subregion. In 1999, the area became part of the Podkarpackie (Subcarpathian) Voivodeship. See more
