The table is set for holiday dinner. Sara Raak of SGK Designs styled her backyard just in time for outdoor entertaining. Sara is a lifestyle creator, designing everything from window displays to tablescapes. With a flair for maximalism, Sara's backyard blends four Polycor stones for a harmonious entertainment space. Her home was no exception, featuring a Moroccan patterned rug atop peachy Carolina Coral granite with Indiana Limestone - Full Color Blend veneers and Woodbury Gray granite wall caps and treads. Pearl Grey marble countertops add the finishing touches. https://bit.ly/3l5icWr #oneroomchallenge #interiordesign #fallvibes #outdoorliving

The Maison Carrée is an ancient Roman temple located in Nîmes in the South of France. Built in the 1st century, this monument is over 2,000 years old and is the best-preserved Roman temple in the world. It owes its exceptional state of preservation to its uninterrupted use since the 11th century. Extracted from Polycor’s quarry in Moulézan, France, Lens - French Limestone was the stone used to build this impressive monument. Check out this short video-documentary of the quarry and Maison Carrée, sponsored by Polycor.

Once home to the secret recipe for Coca-Cola, the Candler building has become one of downtown Atlanta's most historic buildings. Now a luxe boutique hotel, the exterior architectural and decor details were made in the Beaux-Art and Art Deco style, crafted from blocks of locally quarried Georgia Marble - White Georgia. In 2019, the Candler building reopened as The Candler Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton as an adaptive reuse project. Much of the building's interior architect...ure was retained, featuring Georgia Marble - White Cherokee as the lobby's main staircase and Georgia Marble - Solar Grey columns. Interior designer Nicole Harris continued that grand residential feel into the new rooms with bathroom counters manufactured from 1cm thin marble slabs of Georgia Marble - Pearl Grey. SKG Designs' One Room Challenge recently wrapped up and her family has a new backyard to enjoy, just in time for the holidays! The One Room Challenge is a biannual event where participants transform a room in their home and share the process on social media. Sara spent the last 9 years dreaming of her dream backyard. In just six short weeks, she turned her old, uneven, brick patio into an outdoor entertaining space, complete with an outdoor kitchen, seating area, and fire pit.... Selecting Polycor natural stone from North American quarries was a natural fit for this modern abode, located on George Washington's original farm. Historic stone for a historic site. Polycor natural stone features throughout the entire project - Carolina Coral granite pavers replaced the old brick, and the new sitting wall, firepit, and outdoor kitchen are all Indiana Limestone - Full Color Blend. The sitting wall caps are crafted from Woodbury Gray granite and the outdoor kitchen countertop features Georgia Marble - Pearl Grey. All four stones came from quarries in the US. Check out Sara's entire project on her blog, https://bit.ly/35RDP8t

The Liberty Mutual Tower, designed by CBT Architects, marries modernity, heritage, and sensitivity to its classic Bostonian surroundings. With a profile that has drawn comparisons to NY's Flatiron building, the 22-story headquarters of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group is clad in Indiana Limestone - Standard Buff. A stone famous for its strength, beauty, and history, the natural stone facade is a nod to the legacy of Boston architecture with a distinctly modern touch. https://bit.ly/3kRxDBD

Seth van den Bergh and Daniel Zimmerman, founders of The Drawing Room Atlanta, wanted to bring a fresh perspective to the historic homes in Midtown Atlanta while honoring the character and history of the neighborhood. How best to bridge the modern with the historic? With locally quarried Georgia Marble - Pearl Grey natural stone. The home features four fireplaces and each, along with the countertops and tile, were cut from the same block of marble.
