Recently, "TÉMOIN D’IMMORTALITÉ - Exposition des Maîtres de l’Académie des Beaux-arts" opened in Oriental Poly Time Museum. This exhibition displays more than 40 items featured by the artists of Academie des Beaux-Arts, including oil paintings, ink paintings, sculptures, printmaking, etc. These works have survived exploratory times and fully show the innovation and development of the arts of Academie des Beaux-Arts. Since July 1, 2018, Poly Cinema at Tiananmen Square has been in a strategic partnership with the Heart Eyes Foundation and Beijing HongDanDan Visually Impaired Service Center. The "Heart Eyes Cinema" has been set up to hold various activities such as film narration for blind audiences every Saturday. Lu Yang, a Chinese painter born in the 1960s, was well-acquainted with mainstream narratives through visual forms such as publicity posters, cartoons and comics when he was only around ten years old. Throughout his personal painting experience, he has been deeply aware of and reflected on the thoughts and culture of his time, expressed in his unmasked honesty and frankness. He intentionally maintains a certain distance from the weather vanes of painting, leaving room for his unceasing expressions and outpouring of his personal beliefs.
