Sprinkle of warm balayage and partial smoothing treatment on crown area for her bi-polar hair If you have a hair like her, majority straight with curly or fr...izzy on the back area? Just want you to know that this is supprisingly common than people think and I do see it a lot on my chair Few facts about #bipolarhair - Some people born with it but also for some it happens more so with hormone change. Which means the change can happens around puberty or post baby and more - Supprisingly quite difficult to smooth those curly & frizzy area or keep it smooth throughout day. The pattern can be quite strong depending on the person (Picture of my client is day after she blow dried with round brush. So it looks considerablely straight but when she doesn't blow-dry it's CURLY on the crown area) - Usually it's straight on top and side and curly at the back crown or underneath area. Rare to see back straight and front curly accept baby hairs on hairline What can you do? Of the case if you want them to do be one or the other.. - Make sure to get a cut that add this into a consideration - Use extra care with product and diffuser on straight part to create more curls if you wear it curly. If you wear curly all the time than you can even consider perm for the straight area to match the curl - You can do a braid set at night - Or You can get partial smoothing treatment on curly part and wear it smooth all time. Smoothing treatment doesn't take the curl completely away. It make it less frizzy and make the curl size little looser and easier to dry straight with minimal effort Something to consider for easier life Formula for Balayage goes #lorealcolorist Balayage : Platinium ammonia free + 30vol Lowlight : Dia light 7.31 1/4tube + pea size 8.34 + 6vol No toner needed . . #warmbalayage #shinyhair #healthyhair #balayagehandpainted #balayage #lessismore #hairstyl#lorealformula #smoothingtreatment #morningroutine #makelifeeasy #frizzyhair #humidityhair #bipolarhair #multitexturedhair #hairissues #mindofitsown #hairsolution #hairsolutions #behindthechair #thursdaythoughts #jessyjinstylist #hairthatlivesforyou #mountpleasant #vancouverhair #lorealpro @ Pomp and Proper Salon

Dear Kennedy Stewart, Adrian Dix, John Horgan & Justin Trudeau, Thank you for updating Canadian citizens yesterday COVID 19, but your message was not enough. ...Your suggestions of social distancing and strongly encouraging Canadians to self isolate left small business owners in service industries with unanswered questions and the inability to decide what it is we should do next. We elected you to lead. Can you please do that and formally announce that businesses like my hair salons should temporarily close to help alleviate the likelihood of the spread of COVID 19. Your irresolute direction given at yesterday’s press conferences only increased our client’s fears and created an uncertainty amongst our employees. It also left me wondering when our leaders are actually going to give a direction that is fair for all small business service industries, so we can plan to take the hit for a temporary duration, rather than wondering when the mandated shut down will be coming and potentially ruin us for good? The truth of the matter is, our industry (as with massage therapists, aesthetics providers, spas, chiropractors and physio therapists) are unable to abide my your 1 meter rule, as we are in the business of client care and that client care always involves being in contact with the general public. This creates a tension between us and the client, the client and the business, the business and the community. We run the risk of harming our reputation if we choose to stay open, as well as risk losing our livelihood when we choose to close. No one is responsible for this unforeseen epidemic, but you are responsible for us. We need you to order a mandatory shut down in order for our employees in small businesses (which makes up 70% of Canada’s employed persons) to know that they will be granted EI while they are unable to go to work. Your promises of compensation and assistance all sound fine and good until the EI office denies someone who works for us the compensation they deserve due to a technicality of our industry not being mandated to close officially. How do you expect me to confidently lead and protect my employees if you cannot do the same? Dispiritedly, Tanya D Sullivan
