One cowboy scarf left in stock! You wear the triangle in the front and flip the ends around your neck and drape them down the front, so cute. This beautiful cream coloured scarf is perfect for these cooler days. Is it for you?
It’s getting cooler and our famous snoods feel so soft and cozy. This great design let’s you wear the snood three ways. The bottom tri colour brown snood on the mannequin head shows it sitting around your neck to keep you warm. The tall head at the back is showing a snood that you can pull up over the back of your head to give you coverage and it is designed to be long enough in the back to stay inside your coat collar. The mannequin on the right is showing how to wear a snood on those bitterly cold, windy winter days. You can pull it up like a balaclava to protect your cheeks. Look at all the beautiful natural colours I have. Please message me if you would like one and spoil yourself, or if you’ve started your Christmas shopping and think this would be perfect for someone on your list. Shipping available.
Sorry folks, it’s a late post today. These are the sweet texting gloves that have been so popular! I only have 7 pairs left - 3 cream, 3 brown and one pair of grey/brown!!!! They keep your hands warm while your fingers are free to text or use a keyboard. Who wants a pair?
Happy Wednesday. Today’s product post features this beautiful woven hemmed scarf. There is no dye in this piece, it is all natural colours of the alpacas. The fabulous spinners that processed my yarn have created stunning rich colours, by blending different shades of alpaca fibre. I have only 2 of these scarves in stock and you can see how versatile they are. You can wear it many different ways.....and it will work for both men and women. One scarf is 54 1/2 long and the other is 56 long, and both are 8 1/2 wide. $100, plus tax and shipping if applicable.
Thanks to everyone who is inquiring about what product Pondview Farm Alpacas has. I am going to do a post everyday (?) showing the selection available for sale. Pondview Farm Alpacas will not be attending any markets this year and the website is temporarily shut down....so this is how you will see featured items. If there is something specific you are looking for, please pm me. Today’s item - dryer balls, one of our best sellers. They replace the chemically laden dryer sheets and your clothes will dry faster, come out without static and wrinkles and they are all natural. You can use an essential oil on them if you wish to have a fragrance. They last, depending on how many dryer loads you do, between a year and a half to two years. Best thing ever!!!! Do you need a set? Price is $25, plus HST plus shipping if applicable.
Meet Hamlet! He was posing for the camera wondering which is his best side for pictures. What do you think?
Pondview Farm Alpacas has some great fixtures and display pieces for sale. Please pm me for details. There are 4 slatwall units and one of each of the other items.
Had some visitors to the farm this afternoon who totally enjoyed watching the boys running out to the front lawns. Love the giggles.
It is with a tear in my eye and a very heavy heart that I am posting the news that Pondview Farm Alpacas is now for sale. The link to view the farm is http://www.574ontario15.com This is a beautiful video of this lovely farm, and great photos too. I have loved the past 5 years raising these beautiful animals and living on this pretty farm and I have been blessed with meeting so many wonderful people. The new friendships I’ve made through the alpaca community, through the markets I have attended, and the customers who have supported me I will treasure always. Thank you to all of you. Please keep following the Facebook page for updates on what is happening here at the farm. Please feel free to share this post. Take good care everyone. http://www.574ontario15.com
Looby is feeling sorry for himself. He is a strong, healthy 6 year old with NO weight issues at all.....but he is feeling hard done by because he’s finally figured out some of the skinny boys get a little extra and he doesn’t. He’s sticking his head out the back door watching Chill Out eat ....and he’s letting me know what he thinks about this. Lol
And the joyful reunion much to Hamlets relief.
Sound on but please ignore the fan noise. This fawn boy Hamlet is only 7 years old and he is best friends with 16 year old Dario, the white boy eating outside. Poor Dario is missing a front tooth and his teeth have worn down due to age and he has started to lose weight. In order to help him I’ve trying to convince him to eat a special meal of beet pulp shreds and pellets. It’s a bit tricky to feed him with another boy as he is quite timid and I’ve tried a few ways but tonight I had the brainwave of having him eat just outside the back door of the barn. Bingo! It worked except when Hamlet became frantic when he couldn’t find his buddy. Next video of the reunion. Gotta love besties.
Look at that smile! Henson’s in his happy place, all stretched out with a fan to himself.
Most of the time, the alpacas are in the videos and pictures, but today the other animal that lives here - Waldo the cat - is showing off a bit. I was moving the boys to another field for the afternoon and Waldo was helping. Sound on if you want to hear him talking. Enjoy your weekend.
