Signs of change in Banff.
At the Pride flag raising, Banff Community High School with Cam Westhead, our MLA and student McKinley Bloomfield, our future.
What a terrific weekend in the company of supportive Banff residents who volunteered with me because they want to see positive change at Town Council. These are engaged, enthusiastic contributors to our town's fabric. Thank you Ed, Reno and Blair.
"We have to challenge the problems in town." This interview was two weeks ago, but it's worth a listen. Please vote today. http://www.mountainfm.ca//banff-candidate-interviews-pete/

A little Oktoberfest accordion music for you. Thanks, St. Mary's Parish, for a great way to wrap up our campaigning. Remember to get out and vote tomorrow, 10-8 at Banff Town Hall.
Some of my fellow candidates and I wrapped up our campaign tonight at the Oktoberfest party at St. Mary's Parish in Banff. Good luck to current Councillor Ted Christensen (far left), and Hugh Pettigrew, Mayoral Candidate (2nd from right). Chris MacDonald and Philip Carmody, former Councillors, were celebrating with us.
"...music floating like smoke over the crystalline stillness of winter..."
I have signs & supporters in all parts of Banff. Do you know where this street is? Hint: there's a pumphouse nearby.
One of the pleasures of canvassing door to door is meeting everyone in the street. Even non-voting Aussies like Anna and Dean, fresh from the ski-swap.
We encountered some wonderful Halloween decorations while canvassing today. That is one big mouser! Halloween is scary, voting is not! Get to Banff Town Hall on Monday and cast your vote, please!
