Looks like these docks will sit empty for another month. The announcement came yesterday that the border closure will be extended until June 21. Let’s hope this is the last time I have to post this. We will be in touch with those affected in the coming days

Regardless we did turn the water on to camp yesterday....and will be ready if that border should open sometime this season.

Here we go again.....border closed until May 21. There goes opening week. Hopefully it will open at some point this summer

For those wondering what is happening in Ontario..here is what our wonderful premier Doug Ford has in place for us not looking good.

Merry Christmas to all!! We spent Xmas eve at the shacks and had a wonderful day, not many fish caught but lots of food, good company and a good time had by all!! All of Ontario is headed for a 14 day complete lockdown starting Boxing Day...trying to keep covid under control...only essential services to be open. Stay safe friends, good things to come in 2021.......hopefully!

We’ve been checked on!! We are safe for the night!! They came to access for sprinklers just in case we need them tomorrow.

Still at camp, Red Lake is under full evacuation, mnr know we are here. Ready to go when/if we need too.

Forest fire about 7km from us, the biggest near red lake since the 80’s....water bombers on site, should miss us, as long as the wind doesn’t change....this pic is from a few hours ago, it is currently not advancing toward us! *update* Red Lake was evacuated late last night, we stayed and are ok, fire is still burning.

I feel like a broken record repeating the same thing every month, with that being said the border closure has been extended until August 21, also 14 day quarantine coming into the country is currently in place until August 31 We will be in contact with those affected in the coming days. 2020 is looking to be the year that never was
