A few things I am thankful for today. 1-My kid spent his pro-d with me in the studio. He calmed me down when I spilt tea all over the freshly printed distancing and mask signs I had printed off.. and took photos of stock to put up on the website later this weekend. 2-a new friend with awesome chalkboard skills came and redid my sandwich board. 3-an unbelievably generous parent signed up for a class even though they live out of town and said it’s a donation. 4- another incredi...ble parent dropped off an amazing fibre collection to use in classes. 5- my fabulous employee came and had tea while we planned the week ahead. 6- my husband who spent the day on the phone with the local health authority to find out exactly what the new regulations mean for us. Hello again! Here is the latest. We’ve had direct contact with the local health authority representative and she confirmed that they have changed the original health order. We are able to run our small classes with all protocols in place. Thank you all for your patience as we deal with an ever changing situation. Our goal is to always provide the safest space possible and follow our local health authority’s direction. As of now classes are on for next week. We take the health and safety of everyone in our studio very seriously. This fall masks are recommended. Teachers wear visors when distancing is not possible. We continue to follow our local health authorities recommendations. All students have enough room to physically distance and we continue to disinfect all art supplies and touch points regularly. And just like that Poppet Summer Camps 2020 version have come to a close. We did it! And had fun! During a pandemic! I am so thankful. Truly. This rock star disinfected more art supplies than you can imagine, made sure all 8 campers stayed on their island in such a kind way, rocked her visor adorned with unicorn stickers and facilitated a ton of amazing creations. Thank you Dani!! And a huge thank you to all of the kids that have spent time in the studio this summer. Many of you had not been away from your parents since mid March.
