Poppy's Place Society

Our primary goal is to root women emotionally, and provide a safe haven for those who don’t have the safety and support at home from a spouse. - We will provide resources to build them up and disciple them in the truth of God's Word through counselling, friendships, and activities. We want our women to recognize themselves as Christ does: deeply known, loved, valued, and worthy of His love. - As our women grow in faith, their true identity according to the Father, and being established in His Truth, they will grow to be able to live out and use their gifts to reach other women and families in Christ, all from a heart of worship.

Poppy's Place Society will be a sanctuary for women who experience abuse in their relationships, giving them a place to express their feelings and space to heal. We officially registered as a non-profit society on March 18, 2020, and are currently in the process of seeking status as a registered charity. Over the next few months, we will be working on defining our programs, and location within the Cowichan Valley. - We continue to work together to seek God's continuing hand of guidance, wisdom, and strength to iron out our path. - Beautiful logo designed by @mads.sunshine.made

For every step, we commit to following His guidance as caretakers of His creation, everyone and everything, for His purposes. - Our focus comes from Colossians 2:7 to be rooted, built up, established in Christ.
