Reopening day is finally here!

Porch Hair Salon Enhanced Salon Procedures for COVID-19 Clients when arriving for appointments: 1. MUST BE WEARING A MASK BEFORE ENTERING THE SALON. The mask has to hook over your ears not around your head. I have 3 ply non-medical disposable masks here; if you need one. I reserve right to insist on the use of my masks for any reason.... 2. Bring only yourself and your method of payment into the Salon. Jackets, sweaters and hoodies should remain at home or in your vehicles. As should purses and bags. Cellphones, Eyeglasses and Wallets are allowed but should stay on your person. If you are traveling by bicycle or walking and can’t leave your belongings please let me know in advance. 3. Please feel free to continue to pay with Cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or email money transfer. 4. Carefully sanitize your hands for 20 seconds on the Front Step before touching the door to the house. By having your mask on and your hands clean when you come through the door Ebineezer can still be part of your Porch Hair Salon experience. 5. If you work with the public or in a healthcare setting; thank you for all that you do. I respectfully ask that you do not come directly for work. But have a shower and change your clothes before your appointment. 6. PLEASE! If you suspect for any reason that you have been exposed COVID-19 get a test and know you are negative before coming to the Salon. You are most contagious just as the first mild symptoms appear. If you wait until you know you are sick it may be too late to prevent super spreading What Thane is doing: 1. Wearing a MASK at all times when in the Salon. Trying to talk less lol. 2. Already a frequent hand washer, I am doing it even more. 3. All daily cleaning and disinfection procedures now take place between every client and at the beginning and end of each day. This includes tools, hi touch surfaces 4. Capes will be washed or disinfected (depending on material) between each client 5. Careful handling of all salon laundry washed in detergent and hot water. Its important to note that my being open does not mean that I can guarantee it is safe to get a haircut. While I am doing everything I feasibly can to prevent any transmission in the Salon. It is extremely close prolonged exposure. It is just not possible to be certain. I am comfortable with the risks I am taking by reopening before you come for your appointment you need to be too. Hi Everyone. I am busy contacting folk on the waiting list today to book appointments. However, I have some disappointing news to pass on. I am not going to be able to offer shampoo service and therefore color service, until After July 1st. A protective face shield for clients to hold over their faces at the sink is not going to ready in time. At the sink I will be directly above you for 5-15 min and masks could/will get wet. This is just too risky without more protection. Be Safe. Wear a Mask.
