5.27 million is the sum of money I have paid out to my sub trades in the past 5 years. It is humbling to think that that much money has passed through my hands over a seemingly short period of time. It also creates great pride in me knowing that I have helped support many small businesses just like mine. These are actually more than just businesses, these are individuals, families who have entrusted me with their many gifts and talents in exchange for a living. My business is... one of complete transparency, one I pride myself on. When we reference the idea of shopping local, it is more than the brick and mortar stores, it is our next door neighbour who is a finish carpenter or the guy around the corner that hangs drywall.
