Well 2020 at porcupine hollow has wrapped up another however dismal year. Targets all in and put to bed. Thanks to Ron and Mike for the help. Appreciate it. Hope next year fairs out better. Happy hunting now for all those in the bush.

Ok guys sorry to have to Post this but given the restraints in place and the amount of protocols that have to be put in place. We are cancelling the 2020 Pin Down at Porcupine we will see you next July. Again sorry to have to post this. But we really have not got the resources to put the shoot on under the present circumstances. Carl & Jackie

Ok guys we are officially screwed for July 10-12. Mark your Calenders it will be the Sept long weekend. That's unless we are still stage 2 by then. The border is closed till at least July 21. There are so many friends coming from Stateside I hope it opens by Sept. So Porcupine Hoyt Easton shoot will be Sept 4-6 that gives most the holiday to return home. Hope to see everyone then. So finally able to shoot my bow, first 4-5 shots pretty sore then on till about 30 ok then get tired. I must say this new invicta is sweet. Thanks Andrew Charles for convincing me on the SVX cam. Can't believe how good this thing shoots. Given I have not shot for 5 months. Put the Hamske Trinity on it lined up by eye bullet hole. Modified french tuned hit string at 3 back to 10 hit string. That's a wrap. needed half twist to get peep right . So now just to get some reps in. ...This has been a really long road back. On another note started working on lanes for Porcupine hollow shoot. Hope this still has a chance hate to carry 6k in debt for another year but is what it is. If we do get to shoot the course will be ready to rock. I know some people did not like the closeness of some lanes I a fixing that. Get everyone in their comfort zone. I know i said registration would be up by end of month. Given the current situation i would really hate to do that and then have to refund money if it does not go. So hold tight and I am sure all of us Hope's this things burns out sooner than later. Hope everyone is dealing with this without a lot of hardship. Stay safe hope to see everyone this summer. Carl See more

Ok guys as things slowly get put in motion here I have a couple items I have recieved messages about regarding rules. 1st up and I apologize if I was a little light on enforcing.this year I will try and do better So these are both to do with unknown classes. After setting your sight and drawing your bow. You may let down but you may not reset your sight. 2nd up is no range finding of any kind if binoculars are found with marks or if you are found pacing off yardage or you are caught using any body part or gapping technique you will be disqualified. I will be trying to visit all courses to enforce these rules. If anyone would like me to bring anything else up feel free to pm me. Carl

Ok guys listen to this just in.. most of you know Garry Labelle. He sponsored last year with Troy Fire. So he calls me a couple hours ago. Ya I want to know what you need. I tell him a few options. He calls back and says yup I want the Music sponsorship. I said ok so I will put this up for Troy Fire. His reply "nope this is personal" I cant believe how great our sponsors are. $250 out of one man's pocket to help support what we hope is the best archery experience in Ontario. Garry we can't thank you enough. If you see Garry on range or maybe just hear him or see him break dancing at the music venue give him a big thank you.
