I wrote this song in 2004 in response to homelessness. I have spent over 20 years of my life helping the homeless in my community. Music is my way of expressing emotion. I hope we find positive solutions to helping our homeless. Peace

Port Alberni Shelter Society's Boardchair comments on BC Housing's announcement of a third-part review of PASS.

The Port Alberni Shelter Society is happy to support the Food Prescription Box Program. It's a pilot project of Island Health, The Alberni Clayoquot Regional District, & Alberni Transition Town Society. The program delivers locally produced food to patients being discharged from West Coast General Hospital who are deemed "at risk" of food insecurity. Join Carley Gitelman as she visits some of the local producers who contribute to the weekly food boxes!
