SOLD OUT!!! Thank you to all that came out to support us today. Donuts are being made and ready for sale TODAY! Saturday, November 21st from 10am-4pm OR until supplies last! CASH ONLY! We ask that you please wear masks and practise social distancing if you plan to join us during the day. Our Lions members are committed to keeping everyone safe by taking extra precautions in preparing our delicious treats. Due to COVID restrictions, we have changed the way our donut day is run.... We are providing a variety of your favourite flavours in a pre-packaged, assorted box (Chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, icing sugar, and maple) or you can purchase a plain box to make your own toppings at home. We will NOT be having customers order certain flavours to create their own assorted boxes. There will be a walk up option where we will be asking customers to adhere to staying 2 metres apart and wearing a mask to order. There will be a drive thru as well. We are asking that all vehicles STAY on Killaly Street in the parking lane and place their order until a runner can deliver the donuts. Please be patient as we navigate this new routine for providing our community with their favourite carnival treat. All proceeds will be donated to various charities. We hope to see you all there.

Our community is the best there is! Our annual Lions Food Drive for Port Cares has reached new heights this year with a total of $6695 in monetary donations and a whopping 22,672.3 pounds of food donations. We can't thank everyone enough for helping those in need. Special thanks to all of the volunteers who helped out in all capacities on Saturday. A big shout out goes to the following: Christian Life Assembly for allowing us to continue to use their church as a collection ...hub Fontaine's Moving and Storage for use of a transport truck to load all of the food donations Port Colborne Fire & Emergency Services, Port Colborne Optimist Club, and Port Colborne Lioness Service Club for sending volunteers Vance Badawey for coming back to his community to lend a helping hand all day Jan Fuaco and her team of route organizers All of the Port Cares team who helped organize the food drive. As well as the Lions members, who worked behind the scenes to go above and beyond to make sure this event ran smoothly. Port Colborne residents, YOU should be proud of the donations received. This could not have been done without all of our community members stepping up to provide a helping hand to those in need. As a team, we can conquer the devastating effects of COVID! If you didn't get a chance to make a donation, there is still time. You can make monetary donations by e-transfer to [email protected] or send cheques made out to Port Cares with food drive in the memo to 92 Charlotte St, Port Colborne, ON L3K 3E1. Lastly, you can still donate non-perishable food directly to Port Cares Reach Out Centre at 61 Nickel St, Port Colborne, ON L3K 1B3.
