Keeping schools open and safe for students, staff, and families is at the forefront of Manitoba Education’s COVID-19 response planning. The priority is to have students in classrooms with face-to-face instruction to the greatest extent possible. On January 18, 2021, the temporary two-week period of remote learning following the holiday break will end and in-person classroom learning will resume in the PLPSD. All PLPSD schools (unless determined by Manitoba Public Health) wi...ll resume in-class instruction according to our modified Level Orange Planning. The PLPSD will continue to offer medical remote learning for students already registered. For families wishing to remain in remote learning, they have the option to sign up for Home Schooling provincial registration: https://www.edu.gov.mb.ca//schoo/ind/homeschool/index.html Parents and Guardians can access the Manitoba Remote Learning Centre (K to 8) - https://www.mbremotelearning.ca/ for the remainder of the school year.
