Covid-19 Update BC’s progress in the fight against Covid-19 is a direct result of the sacrifices and decisions we have all made. BC Ministry of Health... At Kismet, we will continue to do our part by remaining closed to the general public for the next two weeks, at which time we will reassess. In the meantime, we are pleased to provide a personal shopping experience to each and every one of our customers on an appointment-only basis. Kismet Quilts will be closed until further notice. This decision has not been made lightly, however, the safety of our community, our province and our country is of utmost importance to us. And in light of the joint statement issued by Adrian Dix, British Columbia's Minister of Health and Dr. Bonnie Hunter, B.C.'s provincial health officer (https://news.gov.bc.ca/releases/2020HLTH0091-000518) we feel it is our best option. I will continue to work with our dream machine (for...tunately she is quite immune to this insidious virus) to get your quilts done as soon as possible. We will ring you when they are ready and will arrange pick-up and/or delivery that will keep us all as safe as possible. Hopefully you are putting this "shelter in place" practice to good use by sewing, sewing, sewing. Please don't hesitate to ring us for supplies as needed. We can still take phone orders, arrange local deliveries and ship far and wide per usual. Kismet Quilts will continue to create and inspire and keep you posted via social media. In response to the recent developments with COVID-19, we are suspending all classes until further notice. We apologize for the inconvenience, and look forward to reinstating them as soon as the situation allows. As we are able to maintain social distancing within the confines of the store, we are staying open from 10-3 Monday to Saturday for the time being. Lynne is continuing to long-arm, so the work on customers’ quilts continues. ...
