Celebrate Ontario Heritage Week with us from February 15-21 showcasing the theme of resilience. To honour the resilient residents of Port Colborne’s past the Museum's YouTube Channel will be posting a series of videos throughout the week. Begin by celebrating National Heritage Day with us by learning more about our local trailblazer Helen Kinnear. Leading the way for Canadian Women in the field of law, Helen’s life is showcased in our Exhibit Judging. Have a look to see how this Port Colborne Native showed resiliency in everything she did.

Thank you very much to all the wonderful people who bid on Douglas Todd's painting. Pat Premi is the lucky winner. Congratulation Pat ! The museum is lucky to have a second one of Doug's painting to put on auction, so if you missed out on the tugs you have a chance for the lighthouse.

We need you, our friends and supporters, to help us win $20,000 from canadahelps.org during the Great Canadian Giving Challenge! It’s been tough for us, not being able to open our doors and welcome you in person, we miss you! We are trying to do more to reach you through digital projects, but those are expensive, and donations would go a long way in helping us acquire the equipment to deliver online workshops, presentations and video tours, now, and in the future. We know these are tough times for many and understand if a monetary donation isn’t possible right now, but for those of you who can help, we would appreciate it so much. Please know how very grateful we are for all your support, every little bit helps! https://www.canadahelps.org//chari/city-of-port-colborne/
