As we prepare ourselves for our upcoming election and AGM we thought we would do some outreach about the various roles and positions that presently make up the Foundation board of trustees. Each trustee plays an important role and we’re grateful for the teamwork that comes with our dynamic group. First up? The treasurer! Treasurer: A treasurer is the custodian of the Foundation's money. A primary duty of the treasurer is to manage and oversee the financial affairs of the Fo...undation. In regular and timely intervals, the treasurer is responsible for reconciling and organizing the organizations financial information to provide financial reports to the Board to aide and guide decision making. The treasurer is also responsible to ensure that the annual filing requirements are carried out by the reporting deadlines. A treasurer should have a strong financial background, an eye for details, experience with record keeping, financial controls and budgeting. See more

At each AGM, we elect new trustees as the terms expire for the awesome trustees that have committed their time and energy to us over the past three years. Three terms expire each year so we have vacancies to fill! Trustees meet every second month to make decisions about the amazing projects and activities that will receive... support in Port Dover!
