The requirements to obtain a Covid test in Ontario has (or is about to) changed. If you are not showing symptoms, it looks like you can't get one unless you work with a high risk group such as a senior's home. Pharmacies are now doing tests for asymptomatic people but only if they meet specific requirements as well. I have no idea what these means for our industry because as it stands, every production requires a negative Covid test to work on set. We cannot expect people t...o stay home, isolate and do nothing just in case they book a part. Life doesn't stand still. Maybe this is heading toward another shutdown of the industry until there is a viable treatment. I, for one, am over this virus and I am sick of the hoops we all have to jump through just to get a day's work. At this point, the only two options are to shut things down and wait or continue on as normal because Covid isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Please read up for the most up-to-date information.
