Mr. Dyck’s Skills class is busy building a sauna

Please see below for sad news that we learned today. Mr. Heller will be missed by our students and staff. We will remember him for his energy and passion for teaching, and for his sincere commitment to making a difference in students’ lives. It is with great sadness that we are announcing the passing of a long standing and well respected teacher of School District 85. Brian Heller passed away yesterday, Tuesday, January 5th, 2021 after a long illness. Brian worked in sever...al schools in our district and dedicated his time to encouraging and coaching students in sport. The most recent school he taught at was Port Hardy Secondary School. Students from PHSS and staff from across the district were notified of his passing today. Our condolences and thoughts are with his family, close friends and colleagues at this very difficult time.
