Port Hope Pipe Band is in need of drummers. Come join the fun!
Our 2018 practices started again last week at thr Ruth Clarke Senior Activity Centre in Port Hope. We welcome all who are interested in playing or learning to play pipes or drums. We are very interested in increasing our membership. Free quality teaching is available Thursday nights at 700 pm. Come on out and give it a try.
Always the Poppa. A wonderful reprieve at the York Residence after 2 parades and before tbe last one in Norwood. Great chili as always and wonderful hospitality with Jamie, Pat and all of the York Clan. Thanks so much for a delicious afternoon.
Lou Grenier passed away last night. He was the consummate Pipe Band Drummer having played over the years with the GM band, the GE band and most recently Port Hope. Funeral is Thursday September 7 at 11am visitation at 10am at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King St. E. Oshawa. Lou will forever drum in heaven
Come on down to the Port Hope band shell for a free performance by the Port Hope & District Legion Pipes & Drums, Br 30. The music starts at 7 pm. You will be entertained by Cobourg Pipe Band and the Lindsayrose Highland Dancers. Prepare for a night of Celtic Rapture just for your Enjoyment! See you there!
