Happy Saturday Everyone! Few quick reminders & updates: If you have been to Zone 1 or 5 within the last 2 weeks, please let me know more then 24hrs before your appointment so we can reschedule. OR if you (or someone in your household) are experiencing symptoms, please contact me again, 24 hours before your appointment to discuss. No shows & less then 24 hour notice of cancellation will result in cancellation fees. If it's your first appointment, please give yourself 5-...10 minutes before your appointment time to fill out paperwork. If you've been in before, please respect the 5 minute rule unless I've told you in advance that I can begin said appointment earlier that day. It's about that time of year again; NO SHOES IN MY TREATMENT ROOM, please & thank you. Feel free to bring slippers if you want. If you need to change your workout time in the gym, please let me know beforehand as some times are completely private, and others times are booked up. If you'd like to upgrade to private use only, that option is still available and is limited. There is now a 4 person limit in the gym instead of 5. And for gym members, I hope you like the new Air Purifier! Keep up the hustle! Thank you & have a wonderful weekend everyone! Portia

Feeling a little stiff, creaky, or sore with this weather? Hydrate, take a hot bath/shower, do your stretches, and hydrate some more! It's a GREAT day for some soup/chilli/stew! I'm noticing many are very dehydrated when you come in to see me, and it holds back the progress of your treatment. I want you better! ... Juice (Unless freshly pressed), Coffee and Pop don't count. Gym is open today from 9am-3pm! Here is one exercise that everyone can benefit from; The Inverted Row. Try it with a bar as pictured below, or with the rings for an extra challenge. This exercise can be done from any degree variation. It can be used for warm up/cool down, or part of your workout. ... Working your back is key when it comes to posture. Most people have shortened/tight chest muscles, which is going to lead to neck pain, elbow pain, shoulder pain, bicep pain, and sometimes tingles/numbing in the fingers/hand. If you are trying to cut time off your run, try strengthening your back. There are many benefits to a stronger back. If you are not a member of the Sculpt Private gym and would like to train today, please send a message and we'll get you sorted out!
