Another amazing summer here in Port Morien Cape Breton. Incredible beaches nearby (Sand Bar and Big Glace Bay).

So have a look at our Dining room set up for our home and B&B. There's a story with this place setting of Myott china. A friend now and early guest at our B&B gave us a large collection of this china that was in the cottage (now her home) that she bought in Homeville, near Port Morien. Then at the end of 2012 we received a gift of more dishes from guests that stayed with us several years ago. They live in Belleville Ontario. They were here visiting their son and daughter in law and saw these dishes. Cathy said that her mother owned the similar pattern. Then several months ago she wrote wondering if her inherited set could find a new home. So we came home from Ontario after the holidays with a much larger set of Myott dishes. Wow what friends.

We're having the most amazing summer here in Cape Breton this year. As usual having a great time doing the B&B. We've had guests from far and wide this year...starting in May with two ladies from Wyoming. Then it was folks from Quebec, Saint John NB, Florida, California, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Jersey; Calgary, Brooks and Donnely Alberta; Rosetown Saskatchewan; Lindsay, Orangeville, Blind River, Comber, Owen Sound and Sault Ste Marie Ontario; and Shanagan Lake BC.
