Lend your art skills to the call for change! Inspire action, reveal the injustice, motivate more people to care, create a call to action. Make art. Share your art. Be a voice. Make posters and join a protest march. Make an Animation and post it. Artists have historically been part of social change. Use your creativity for this important cause. Black Lives Matter.
As a the director of a Canadian school, I try to remain neutral and provide only educational support to our American students. But at this pivotal time in history of the United States, I feel it's important to share our support and stand up in solidarity for the rights of black lives in America and in Canada as well. It's time to go further to make systemic change to end racism and oppression in law enforcement. We stand with the protestors. We care and we want to help. If yo...u are reading this please be part of the change that is desperately needed. This is not the time to remain silent thinking that we are powerless to enact change. I cannot stand back and make no comment thinking as an educator, that I ought to remain non-partisan. I care too much about the rights of our students and all peoples to stand idly by. #blacklivesmatter. As a Canadian I believe strongly in equality of all peoples. #IdleNoMore. #equalityforall #bethechange See more

Breathtaking and poignant! I love how the animator incorporates simple structural gesture sketches while conveying elusive memories with fluid and amorphous wisps. The drawing lines seem to dance with the characters. So touching and mesmorizing! https://youtu.be/OBk3ynRbtsw
