Official Statement regarding the 2020 Parkland Outdoor Show & Expo. The Province of Saskatchewan and Chief Medical Health Officer released the directive to cancel or postpone all public gatherings over 250 people. In addition, no events of over 50 people with speakers or attendees who have traveled internationally in the last 14 days take place. In light of the direction announced this afternoon and to help reduce the possible risk regarding the spread of COVID-19, the board... of directors of the Parkland Outdoor Show & Expo will be postponing the 2020 show scheduled for April 4 & 5, 2020. We are actively working to determine if we can schedule a future date in 2020. We will be in contact with all of our exhibitors as soon as possible with more information and will continue to communicate with everyone as we decide how to move forward. Update regarding the Parkland Outdoor Show & Expo in April: We are keeping in close contact with health officials and the province regarding COVID-19 and what this means for our show scheduled for April 4 & 5. Our board of directors will be meeting on Sunday March 15 and will provide everyone with an update following the meeting.

The Parkland Outdoor Show and Expo is extremely proud to have what we consider a master trapper in the province of Saskatchewan (and perhaps beyond). Ken Laycock has over 50 years of trapping experience. Most seasons Ken averages of 500 coyotes trapped. Ken's best year of trapping came in 2012 when he trapped 815 coyotes. For a number of years Ken trapped for the Alberta Government as part of their humane trapping program. Currently Ken works with Saskatchewan Crop Insurance Corporation with predator control.
