Meet Rebecca Drotos, Senior System Support Representative at Team POSitec! Rebecca joined POSitec Solutions in 2003 after working two years at a pharmacy. She has a BSc in Biology and Biomed Sci and a history of working as an agricultural biomedical vaccine developer. Over time she became convinced she should pivot into working with computers. She got her CompTIA A+ certification and spent six months sending in resumes, calling, emailing and cajoling POSitec to hire her - and... her persistence paid off! Rebecca found working in pharmacy retail and seeing firsthand how POSitec POS software made store processes more logical and precise. She became interested in the challenges of collecting data and using it in meaningful ways. Rebecca works with data, hardware and software helping the POSitec Team to deliver high-end performance in all store processes. Rebecca and her husband raised two children on their Niagara region vineyard. A physical disability has meant limited mobility and the use of assistance devices, but her horses Albus and Asterix have enabled long rides around the farm and a lovely sense of freedom. #TeamPOSitec #POSitecSolutions

Meet Teresa, POSitec Customer Support Representative! Teresa Ziegler came to POSitec Solutions in 2007 bringing with her valuable experience including teaching computer systems at college, assisting businesses in transitioning to software-based bookkeeping and as the bookkeeper/pos operator at her local Pharmasave. Teresa believes there is always something new to learn and has continued to enhance her knowledge through education. Living in Fort Nelson BC, required lots of ...travel at times as the courses were often not offered locally not a deterrent for Teresa! Her certificate in Adult Education is beneficial in her role as Customer Support Representative where understanding and patience are key and go a long way in delivering service beyond customer expectations. In her spare time, Teresa loves to garden, with a knack for growing veggies over flowers. Meet Kiran Sidhu, Customer Support Representative & Trainer at Team POSitec! Kiran joined the POSitec Customer Support team in 2016 with a Bachelor of Computer Science Engineering and most recently completed a Network Systems Program course. Kiran started her career in Canada in the food service industry and although it provided her a solid ground in customer service, her heart was in technology. She was happy when a position became available at POSitec Solutions that gave he...r a platform to utilize her technical knowledge and customer service skills. Since beginning at POSitec, there has been no looking back. After a year in Customer Support, she joined the Training Department. Being a Trainer and Support Representative has helped her understand what a POS user is looking for and how to better assist them with any POS related issue. Kiran loves a challenge and solving technical problems. In her spare time, Kiran loves capturing moments and nature's beauty on her Canon DSLR. Spending time with friends and family is always a priority and when she can, she enjoys spoiling her nephews!

Meet Janet Charlish, Customer Support Representative at team POSitec! Janet joined the POSitec Solutions team in the fall of 2015, with an educational background in electronics and experience as a computer technician for over 20 years with TechRx/Zadall. Through her work there, she had the opportunity to meet Brian Joel and when a position became available for a software technician, Brian contacted Janet and was thrilled when she agreed to join our team. Janets knowledge and... understanding of technology allow her to help customers who perhaps are unsure about technology. Her ease and way with people make them feel comfortable asking questions. Janet loves to solve problems and work on new projectssome might sayshe is the label expert! Janet enjoys spending time skiing, knitting and going for walks in beautiful British Columbia.
