PotteryWorks artist Linda Raudonus is pushing forward with her new technique. Linda's paintings were successful in the recent "The Abstracted View" show and her work continues to develop as does her passion for painting them. PotteryWorks is very excited to announce this opening on Jan.8, 2021. "The Abstracted View" is an exhibit of 30 abstract works by 6 Colour Collective artists. Viewing by appointment, with a virtual opening being developed by the Anvil Centre. Don't miss this exciting show.

PotteryWorks congratulates artist Tom Mackie. Tom's painting "Kaleidoscope" was chosen by the Anvil Centre for promotional material and to represent "The Abstracted View" show, Jan 8 - Mar 5 at the Anvil Centre. Tom has been working hard, while sheltering in place at home and has produced several new paintings for the show.
Dan Tell went to the Surrey Art Gallery today, to see his paintings in the "Searching for Surrey" show. Dan says that when he first walked in the gallery he remarked, "This is really great, wow". This show features the work of Dan Tell, Sheri Lynn Seitz and James Lash and runs until December 13th.
The Surrey Art Gallery has graciously created special visiting times for individuals and staff from the Community Living Society, friends and networks of PotteryWorks and it's artists. The times are Monday - Thursday, 9am - 4:30 pm. There is a limit of 9 people at one time in the gallery and they are allowing 2 hours per visit. To book, please email [email protected] with the names and phone numbers of each person attending the show, along with the date and time of your visit.
PotteryWorks artists Siobhan Harris and Sheri Lynn Seitz have put the finishing touches on a submission of sculptures portraying the effects of Covid on members of the community. We are all keeping our fingers crossed that the submission is accepted.
