This 17 year old Volleyball Centre of Excellence athlete continues to impress me with her work ethic and dedication. I don't see many athletes her age doing this, let alone for 3 sets of 8. Keep up the good work!
"If performed properly, strength training is safe and even beneficial for children. Strength training can improve performance and reduce risk of injury." "Most experts believe that strength training may begin between the ages of 7-12. A qualified trainer should supervise and teach proper technique." http://www.stopsportsinjuries.org//understanding-strength-
My number 1 client and wife-to-be ruptured her patellar tendon this past weekend playing soccer. Big thank you to her team mates who helped her out until the ambulance arrived and all the family and friends who have reached out to her. Thank you to Dr. Stone and the rest of the hospital staff who went above and beyond the call of duty.

Great article about Liam Stanley, a soccer athlete I've been sponsoring this year. Keep your eyes peeled for the 2015 sponsorship application coming in December! http://www.oakbaynews.com/sports/280250662.html
