Former Power FC player Dominic Iankov (Yankov) is currently playing with the top Bulgarian League club, PFC Ludogorets. Dominic played yesterday vs Tottenham Hotspur in a UEFA Europe League match. PFC Ludogorets have dominated the Bulgarian League winning 9 championships in a row. PFC Ludogorets have played games in both the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Champions League. Dominic played for Power FC between 2009 and 2014. Dominic would then go on to join the Sunderland Academy..., where he played for three years prior to joining PFC Ludogorets. Dominic played for Bulgaria’s U17, U19, & U21 men’s national Team and was invited to play for Team Canada’s U23 for the upcoming 2020 CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying. Dominic recently played his first international cap as he was called up to the Men’s Bulgarian National team and made his debut on October 8th in the UEFA Euro 2020 Playoff-match against Hungary.

Congrats to former Power FC player Steven Simpson who has signed with Barnsley FC of the Championship in England, the second tier of English Soccer! Steven played with Power FC for 8 years in Toronto before moving to England where he played with Birmingham City FC. Steven was scouted by Birmingham at the Dublin Cup and the Galway Cup in 2012 while on a Power FC tour to Ireland. Steven had trials with Power FC affiliate club Sunderland AFC in 2010 and 2013. Steven has also been on trial with Pescara FC in Italy in 2013 and is a former SAAC honour roll athlete.
