Hey everyone, Yamaha just released a recall on FJR1300's, effected year range 2016~2020, Second Gear Breakage Yamaha Motor Co. Ltd. has decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in certain 2016~2020 FJR13 motorcycles. In affected units, the second gear may break under repeated heavy loads. If this happens, the transmission could jam and cause a sudden lock up of the rear wheel, possibly causing a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. If you or a friend owns a FJR1300 in the effected year range 2016~2020. Please contact me. Powersports t.o. is a Yamaha dealer and can perform this, and other, recall free of charge. Ontario dealers selling and leasing motor vehicles are not on the list and must close their physical operations. The UCDA has confirmed with the Ontario Government that online, phone and remote delivery sales and leasing will still be permitted. Customers will not be permitted to visit the dealership, other than for service and repair work. ... Vehicle repairs, parts and supplies may continue (parts and supplies must be delivered using alternative methods other than purchasers entering the store, such as outdoor pickup or delivery). At Powersports to. our main priority is the safety of our staff and customers, and we are putting in place policies that comply with the law and keep everyone safe. We have decided as of April 8th, 2020 to re-open with no public access to the showroom and minimal staff. During this period payment can be made with credit, debit or etransfer. We are not accepting cash for now. Winter storage bikes we know you want to get back on your bike, and we want to make it happen. Please email [email protected] or call 416-925-1818 to arrange a date and time for pickup. These will be on an appointment basis, and there will be only one customer at a time. This will be contactless, and your bike will have been washed and disinfected prior to pickup. Parts are available via curb side pickup. Please call ahead, even for oil and filters, and we will prepare the order in advance. Service is available on an appointment basis. We have a contactless process in place for drop off and pickup. Each bike will be washed and disinfected prior to and after serviced. There is a $7.50 fee for this service, which will be added to your invoice. Bike sales are available via phone and email. Please let us know how we can assist during this period.
