One of the bonuses to living in these exciting times is the abundance of time to create! Just finished (last night) the final trim on a quilt made for someone special. A fabric kit was purchased a few years ago and sat on the shelf until two weeks prior to Christmas. This is the result!

Are you ready for the big reveal? TA-DAA!!! I love it. Went with the leather base since I thought it added a bit more class as well as additional durability for the bottom of the bag.

My Designer Satchel is taking shape. Inner pockets & lining to finish up. I had planned to put a leather base on this. Not sure it needs it. Any preference if this was yours?

Surprise! Something for MOI! Fabrics have been chosen, cut and interfaced for my new winter purse! This will feature a leather base that will wrap two inches up from the bottom on all sides with lots and lots of pockets and cool hardware. (Just need to source some of the hardware pieces!) Stay tuned!
