We are thrilled to share our latest donation delivery to Mackenzie Health Hospital! A very special thanks to Mrs. Ip from Hong Kong who generously donated 100 #N95 masks as well as funds to purchase 3540 face shields. These unique laser cut face shields from Inksmith are reusable, which means these 3540 shields will give our frontline healthcare workers up to 50,000 uses! Mackenzie Health's Dr. Danny Chen was featured on CTV National News yesterday as he spoke to a study about the use of an experimental treatment, Remdesivir, in severe COVID-19 patients. Dr. Chen advocated on behalf of his patient to be included in this limited study and coauthored an article that was published last week in the New England Journal of Medicine. We congratulate Dr. Chen on this significant achievement.
