NOTICE OF ELECTION and CALL FOR NOMINATIONS To: All Members of the Newfoundland Pony in good standing as of August 31, 2020 You are hereby notified of the Elect...ion of Executive Officers of the Newfoundland Pony Society for a term of office of Two Years commencing January 1, 2021. Nominations must be received by October 31, 2020, with voting to take place between November 3, 2020 and November 15, 2020 for any position where more than one eligible member is nominated. This notice is given in accordance with the Section 4 of the By-Laws of The Newfoundland Pony Society. CALL FOR NOMINATIONS This is also a Call for Nominations for the following positions on the Executive Council: President Vice-President Secretary Membership Secretary Treasurer Registrar Member at Large (3 positions) Any member in good standing may nominate or second the nomination of a person to serve on the Executive Council. A person nominated must also be a member in good standing of the Society and must consent to the nomination. Members are reminded that in accordance with the Constitution any member seeking nomination must be a full voting member in good standing as of August 31st, 2020 and the nomination must be moved and seconded by full members in good standing as of August 31st, 2020. The Nominee must consent in writing to the nomination. Members may use the Nomination Forms attached to this Call for Nominations and forward the completed form including the signature of the Nominee by mail, fax, or scan the completed form and forward by e-mail to the Election Chair. Alternatively, a member may use the text of the form on an email sent from the e-mail address of each of the nominator, seconder and nominee, which must be the e-mail address of the member on file with the Newfoundland Pony Society and must have the typewritten name of the sender at the end of the message. (the emails must be sent from the address of the member on file with the Society) Duly completed Nominations must be in the hands of the Election Chair by October 31st, 2020.
