This is the theif who stole a laptop computer from Mervs on Thursday February 6. Anyone who may know her is asked to call RCMP to help get it back and throw her her ass in jail.

The Barry Holland presentation and workshop was on Monday and Tuesday with a number of people in attendance. We learned about the law and how it applys to your rights. Information on self defence. What you can legally do to protect yourself and your property will be invaluable in the unfortunate event you are ever faced with having to deal with criminals. We also learned a safe way to arrest persons as we wait for authorities to come. I feel this is another "tool" for us to use in todays unpredictable society. This however doesnt replace the police. I always encourage people to call the police with any tips that may help in their investigations of crimes in our community. March 13 2018, between midnight and seven am, thieves broke into the old auction mart between Swan and Minitonas, and got away with a 2004 Dodge ram, gray in color licence GTU 622. As well, they left with a 1999 Yamaha SRX 700 snowmobile. Serial # is available. Also a mens red mountain bike,and a number of other items. Any information would be appreciated. As part of giving back to our community, Prairie Security Services recently made a donation of safety vests and traffic control signs to the Minitonas Fire Dept. This equipment will be invaluable for incidences which require high visibility, such as traffic accidents. The traffic signs will be used to safely move traffic safely through accident scenes.
