- The Oyen United Church received $5,000.00 from the COVID-19 Emergency Community Support Fund. This money went towards new front and back doors for the church. Yesterday I had a chance to go visit the church and take a couple pictures with Valerie May, the Oyen United Church Treasurer.

May 17th at noon is the deadline to apply for a $25,000 grant designed for agencies with innovative project ideas that show creativity and leadership in supporting a vibrant, healthy and caring community. Since its first grant cycle in 2019, the region served by the Prairie Crocus Community Fund has received $109,969 in grants through the Community Foundation of Southeastern Alberta!
