2020 wedding year ended differently than it looked in January. But I’m so very grateful to all the fabulous Couples who trusted me with their special day. Wowsa what a crazy upside down world we are finding ourselves in. I haven’t posted in awhile because...well everything was cancelled. But I need to post this wedding that I did March 13, 2020. Yup, it was right at the very end of what we called a normal life. It was Friday the 13th, it was a blizzard, everything was shutting down, and this brave young couple started their married life together with all the hope, love and optimism of any young couple . They had hand sanitizer at the guest book with a cute sign. As things start opening up, I’m still doing this. So send me a message if you’re looking for decorations and or decorating. I can’t believe what has happened in just two months.

Well COVID-19 did a number on my wedding business this year for sure! But this outdoor COVID-19 wedding is happening today and I couldnt be more excited!! The wildflowers are prime this time of year! Winter weddings! Two of our own kids got married on December 29, 5 years apart from each other. If you get yourself organized ahead of time, Christmas can still be fun!

This past weekend I helped with the Waterton Wildlife Festival, held at the Waterton Community Centre. I love this time of the fall, when the fall colors are in full display. The Elk were living up to the festivals name wild life. We went to another local flower farm today @primrose.lane.farm Kristen, opened her beautiful gardens to the public. So my daughter and granddaughter joined me in collecting these beauties! I love locally grown flowers so much! So brides of the future....I would love to do some weddings next summer using locally grown flowers! July and August are the months for these kinds of flowers. Wedding #2 June 29. This one was in our backyard in Waterton. My cousins @letjegibb daughter @mattlen_gibb got engaged a week prior to this. This proves you dont need tons of time to plan and pull off a wedding. When they asked me where is a cute place to get married in Waterton, I immediately thought of our beautiful mountain maple tree. Its a perfect canopy for intimate gatherings. So this is where we held the wedding! #southernalbertawedding #watertonlakesnationalpark

Wedding #1 from June 29th. We role in this wedding was the flowers! @brittneymlow1 and I had soooo much fun putting together 14 beautiful centrepieces, floral arch, brides bouquet, boutonnières, corsages, and other arrangements. Wedding season is starting. I provide a range of services. Starting from, I will do it all to renting different pieces and you do it all. Here are just a few (very few) of the things I rent out. If youre interested in seeing more of things I rent, DM me. I can send you pictures and prices. Or we can meet and Ill give you lots of ideas of how I would set it up. I do charge a $200 consult fee, but then take $100 off my final bill. Feel free to share this post with someone you know getting married.

What is your style of flowers? Formal or loose? Greenery, or more flowers? I LOVE FLOWERS! I know my love for flowers comes from my Mom and Grandma. My Mom has a beautiful flower garden, as did her Mom (my Grandma) and her Mom (Great Grandma). I even have a peony bush that was from my Great Grandmas garden! Roses are a specialty that they all grew! And my Mom has the perfect spot in her garden for roses, and they are gorgeous. But ferns are another one of their spec...ialities. Anyone in my family knows about the ferns that Grandma grew, they are still growing even though the house has been tore down and most of the lot looks very vacant, under the big willow tree there are still ferns growing. So when my daughter wanted ferns at her wedding, we asked Grandma to babysit them all summer. Thanks Mom! I wanted to show what different kinds of floral arrangements, bouquets, and plants can be used for your special day. Of course there are many many more things to do as well, these are just a few that I love and have done. See more

Thanks Waterton Community Centre for the shout out. I loved decorating this space! Its a great venue! We used every bit of their space. To have a playground right outside the north classroom was so handy for our designated kids room Im available in Waterton!

Mandy and Derek got married Sept 8 with a Party in Waterton. My niece Tori Ann Photography took most of this Pictures. Derek's Bro-in-law Darren Roberts took pictures the day before...Epic! We also had Rhonda Steed taking pictures and Aidan Scott videoing. I can't wait to get their pictures and video! I feel like it was well recorded!

This wedding party is in my favorite spot in the world...Waterton National Park! Ive known this groom since he was a small boy, his mom is my good friend. This party was at their own cabin, so sorry folks its not a rentable venue.

This is a busy wedding season for me. Mostly because my own daughter is getting married in September. So Ive been a little busy with that, and late on posting some weddings Ive been hired to do or help with. This was a wedding from the end of July. I loved the wildflower look, the bride was going for.

Decorated for another wedding this past weekend! It was such a fun day! The Asciones and Witbecks know how to throw a fun party!! The ceremony, dinner, reception and dance all happened in the same venue! We set up for the ceremony and had the tables ready and tucked away behind a beautiful backdrop. My good friends, the Berezays had already draped the ceiling and walls. The transitioning from ceremony to dinner went smoothly. There was great weather that day so we even used the deck in the front during the reception and dance! The flowers for this one turned out awesome! I had great help with those from my friends Brittney Low, Michelle Pollock and Emma McLeod. Kari Nielson did the beautiful cake!

A wedding party for a fabulous couple who were married in Mexico two weeks ago. The color scheme they choose was peaches and cream. The party was hosted by the grooms parents. The head table china, stemware, and utensils, were the grooms mothers very own bridal settings, just one of the many special touches of hers. Guests were arriving a little early, we were just getting all the finishing touches done, so not as many pictures as I would have liked to have got.

3 Years ago I did a wedding for my friend Jazzy Low. It was a small, intimate wedding in Waterton National Park. Darren Roberts was the photographer (he's amazing btw). Decorated for a party for 300 young adult women. It was a celebration of their organization. In keeping with that and to encourage visiting and mingling we decided on a carnival theme. We created a Italian Soda bar, a popcorn bar, a doughnut wall and a doughnut hole table. We had 6 tables for those wanting to sit and created groupings of chairs for others. But we thought most would be standing and visiting. I had another commitment at the time of the actual event so my pictures dont actually have any of the food in them. The organizers of this event felt it was a huge success and were happy with the atmosphere we created as well as our suggestions for what to serve.
