Salads don't need to be expensive or boring! When I'm busy I grab the pre-mixed bags and spice it up myself. This one is cabbage, lettuce, carrots and I added chicken a sprinkle of bacon and a few salad tortilla chips for extra crunch! And it cost me about $5. A filling lunch that's not boring. And fueling me till afternoon snack!

At our house our kids are responsible for picking a new meal every week and it has to be something we have never had before and that requires more than putting a pan in the oven.
