Holy smokes! That was quick. Pre-ordering is sold out now. We will have MORE comfrey in June. Stay tuned. Thank you!
The online store is now open for pre-ordering comfrey. Please note this is only pre-ordering for now! We expect to be able to ship mid/late June, weather permitting. There will be a set number of root cuttings available for pre-ordering only. This does NOT mean we are sold out for the season. Harvesting, packing and shipping is a lot of work and we can do only so much at once. We have set numbers per ship date to keep it manageable. If the store shows sold out please be patient. We’ll open the store again in July. We plan on at least two more ship dates in July and August as well. If you order after our ship date in June you will receive your order in July, if you order after we ship in July you will receive your shipment in August.
Always nice to find a super colourful spot on the farm but in spring it’s extra special.

Still getting a lot of emails asking why comfrey is out of stock in the online store. We haven’t opened for pre-orders yet. Stay tuned. I’ll announce it on social media and our newsletter.
I made a couple of little arrangements for us from branches the deer rubbed off. The trees had a hard time in summer and fall so I won’t cut anything this year. Therefore I won’t be offering wreaths unfortunately.
What a great book. A real page turner with a heartwarming story about love, buying a farm, life and what really matters. Thanks @hilarieburton I haven’t read a book in a while that I enjoyed that much.
Remembrance Day
Soon to be moms
Hello Poppy! They are still budding and flowering this year. Amazing. First real frost this morning.
Early mornings are so peaceful
Talk about late bloomers
The last hurrah of the season. We are already prepping and planting for next year. 2020 customers stay tuned for an email shortly.
A mini bouquet of all the shorties for my MIL
One last bouquet ...
A big thank you to all my amazing flower customers this year! You will receive an email shortly.
Trying to harvest flowers for the last subscription bouquets but ... I’ll let them sleep for now. I’ll be back later. I never cut all flowers to ensure bees and all these critters have some flowers to snack on and sleep in. It’s so peaceful to see them like this. Now if pests would share as well I would be happy... you hear that slugs?!?!
Time flies when you are having fun! Last bouquet deliveries for the season on Saturday!
When the back of a sunflower is even prettier than the front
Sometimes even the farmer gets a little something
Bouquets ready to go for tomorrow
If the deer don’t eat them all ...
I saved these two from the hail last week. A lot of them got knocked down
One of the bouquets this weekend. Flowers are fleeting but so pretty.
Sunshine after a massive storm with some hail last night. Good thing the flowers for this weekend’s bouquets were harvested and inside. I’ll go and assess what’s left later. I hope this isn’t the end of the season. Despite the crappy weather so far the flower have performed so well and now this...
Does anybody know who this guys is? Before I name him giraffe?!
Best moment? Bringing in harvested flowers
It’s always such a surprise when a small peony bud reveals such a big and stunning flower.
More of these charming poppies.
Hello! What are you doing???
All comfrey orders are shipped! I might do another round in early August if there is interest. Here is my monster comfrey. These were a few left over root cuttings a couple of years ago.
