New! Gasp! This one is almost too lovely for me to post for sale. But I’m trying to #fundmyfarm so I’m selling! This is a solid oak Cinderella dresser with the original beveled mirror. No veneer so all oak is solid right through. Amazing. The finish on this was so hard I went through 5 sanding disks just to get the top stainable. ... Drawers are lined with a 1920s German novel book pages. Dresser is approx 115 years old. On original casters. Mirror and harp have had repeated repairs over the years- likely due to the sheer weight of mirror and the aging wood. I recommend that the mirror be hung/anchored to a wall once it’s set in place. I used Coal Black milk paint from Homestead House because I wanted a very matte black finish with the wood tones peeking through. This is my favourite way to use black on antiques. New teardrop porcelain pulls are the Crown Jewels for this princess. 36 wide 71 total height with mirror 20 depth 28 1/2 height to table top Pick up only 10 minutes west of Innisfail Mirror easily comes off for transport This is a special one that won’t last. Etransfer required to hold. Message me if you’re interested. $325 Maple chair is from 1920s with original cane seat. A great accent chair- should not be for everyday. The layers of paint were sanded back for a deconstructed look. Hemp oiled to bring out the wood tones. A lovely addition to a bedroom. $50

Decorative antique radio lamps. These are actual table top radios from the 1930s which have had their radio components removed and a lightbulb added. Purely decorative. The fabric in the windows can be changed to anything you want to match your decor. There’s also enough room in each of these boxes to hold a blue tooth speaker or your wifi router. All of them have a back screwed on - easy to remove to change bulb. ... The tall one is painted a beige/grey with a teal/green/blue fabric The other two are the original wood cabinets refinished. $65 each. Pick up Red Deer County.

All items are now sold. The shop is closed. I’m taking a break for a while. You can follow my account on Instagram to see what new things I find when out hunting for treasures. I may pop in here periodically to share some fun farmhouse finds or trends but that might not be for a while. It’s time for new inspiration, new creativity and new goals. Thanks to all my fabulous customers and the friends I’ve made over the years. You guys have made this fun and don’t worry... I’m st...ill planning on painting furniture down the road. That’s just who I am but my hand and my soul need a rest. If you’ve purchased from me this year- I would love if you’d leave a quick review on my page. Thanks so much.

This is the last painted piece I have. I have worn out my hand painting this past month. I’m taking a sabbatical from painting and refinishing for a while. I will post occasionally some things I’m working on for myself and thrifted finds plus Christmas is coming and you know I can’t resist overdoing the decor!

Woohoo! I have actually come to the end of the garage stash of furniture! I don’t think this has ever happened before! We may actually be able to get a car into the garage! ... This last piece is honestly not a prime piece of furniture but it definitely has function. This is the style of furniture from the early 70s- my era. I actually bought this piece to use as a craft cupboard and never actually used it. Please read entire description. Solid and drawers are clean and work well. Original brass handles. I painted it in Fusion’s Homestead Blue which can look dusty or muted in some lights and almost teal in other light. It’s a very versatile colour. The inside is bright pink for one reason only: it’s fun! Crafting should be fun and that’s what you want to see when you open a craft cupboard. This would be a great area to store a sewing machine and quilting supplies. It’s also a fantastic toy cupboard and the drawers would be easy to store LEGO, blocks, small toys and puzzles. 36 wide 18 deep 55 tall There is a faint smell of cigarette smoke - I only noticed it when I was painting. It isn’t strong and I do think it’s dissipating. I’m adding scented sachets to the drawers to combat the smell if it lingers. This is full disclosure and I’m lowering my asking price due to this. $150 The tin doll house is also available. It’s 19 x 15 x 8 It includes a few furniture items and one pink girl. Hard to find furniture included with these. I displayed this the last few Christmases with a bottle brush tree in the front window and fairy lights. It’s very cute. $35 SPPU There are two add on sets of furniture in original pkgs. A rare find!! $15 for both. SPPU The tin doll cradle would be so cute displayed in a nursery. 19 x 10 x 12. $15 The jar of goodies is full of old game pieces: clue, checkers, chess, monopoly, marbles, Bingo and so much more. It’s a great way to occupy young folks and also replenish old board games. $15 for the jar full. The coffee table is 50 years old and in good condition. It’s just not my style to refinish. We have been using it for the past few years as a TV stand. It’s 58 long by 24 wide and 18 tall. I’m letting it go super cheap at $50 Anyone who wants any of these items needs to private message me . Pick up south end of Regina. No deliveries. I don’t reserve without a firm pick up time. No holds over 24 hours without full payment. Pick up must be within 3 days.

The mustard nightstands I posted yesterday were a big hit on FB and Instagram. Good news: Niki’s Farmhouse has just got a shipment of paint in and she’s loaded up with Mustard. Better hurry in to see her today! They won’t last long!
