Run Deb Run! For Deb Roberts, our General Manager for Western Canada, running to stay on top is just part of what she does to manage the business for Praxair, but in her spare time, she also participated in the Terry Fox run this year to support cancer research. Together with her family shown here, she was able to raise $6,000 in memory of her brother-in-law Wayne. The Terry Fox run has always been something I have supported and participated in for many years. Not onl...y was Terry a great Canadian who exemplified hard work and determination, his legacy of raising money for cancer research still lives on 40 years later. This year’s slogan was try like Terry. We all know someone whose lives have been affected by cancer, and this is a small way we can help. Deb commented. The PMTC Driver Hall of Fame was established in order to recognize superior over the road performance of drivers employed by members of the PMTC. We are proud to have Randy Lanigan, a driver for our Merchant & Onsite business with 30+ years with us inducted in 2020.

Seeing the Forest for the Trees Derek Scott, a driver from our Kelowna location is involved in a non-profit organization, the Okanagan Forest Task Force that cleans up the forest in the Interior of BC. Since 2016 when the organization was founded, the volunteers have removed 272,702 lbs. of garbage. Thank you Derek for caring about our natural habitat!
