CUSTOM DOLL ALERT EEK! I love this one. This custom scared me. I was nervous. So I sketched it out, and set it aside. Then made the pieces.... and set them aside. Detailed the head, made the hair, and yup.. set it aside. It took me 2 weeks of obsessive detailing and making ruffles, but here he is!!! The @harrystyles doll is finished and I am in love with it!! ... Thanks to @craftyiscool for the super awesome head pattern. It's such a good book! The stubborn part of me decided to make the body pattern myself so it was a bit bigger, but I definitely need to embrace more of the patterns in this book next time. It's a definite departure from my usual doll pattern. This doll however is NOT a toy or cuddle doll. It's for display, as there are wires and supports inside. Thanks for checking it out! Those tiny details..... Sometimes it seems like a bother, or that noone would notice, but they will. Oh yes, they will. They'll stare at it, touch it, squish it and examine each stitch. The item you so lovingly made for someone. And DETAILS MAKE IT AMAZING!! I absolutely LOVE hearing from my customers, about the little details I snuck in. ... This little blazer was a bitch to make, but my heart swells with pride. I can't wait to add a bit of detail. Perhaps a pocket square, or maybe a boutonnierre? Cufflinks maybe? It's all in those details... Nic
