As audio content producers, we often don't get to see the final product until long after we've worked on a project, and sometimes we never see it at all! That's why we're excited to share this video from our client Red River Press, voiced by Precursor head honcho Andrew Yankiwski.

Back when we could host in-person workshops, seminars and open houses, we were often dismayed to see so many of our guests ignore the carefully selected coffee, tea and other refreshments that we offered. We attribute it to the ubiquitous trend of picking-up Starbucks, Tim Horton’s, etc. on the way to events. We are happy to report that trend is reversing and our students, clients and friends now look forward to an espresso, percolated coffee, tea or italian soda during their session!

Did you know that the robust Cannon XLR cable, ubiquitous in studios today, was originally developed for military communications? Cables are easy to ignore when they are working correctly. However, incorrect or faulty cables can easily become a troubleshooting nightmare. We use balanced cables where possible. A few simple tools like a cable tester, couplers and cable stapler make cable installation and troubleshooting a lot easier around the studio.

With the next-gen consoles coming out, we wanted to take a look at the our first console. We got this Colecovision way back during Christmas of 1982. Originally it had the most unergonomic controllers, thankfully the Super Action controllers fixed that issue!
