Yesterday was a very special day for our very own Savanah Renda and just as significant a moment for HTA. 8 years ago HTA started our kids KX striking program ...and the first little one through that door was this adorable little energy filled pony tailed girl with a fierce attitude right from the start! I knew there was something very special about her that day! Today I’m am excited to say that that little girl is the very first KX student of our entire program to receive the rank of Jr. Black Belt. Savanah has grown through the program and went from a cute little ball of fire to the young woman warrior she is today. Savanah has spent more time training to achieve this rank then most adults programs and we welcome her into our black belt community! Of the thousands of kids that have come through our program this is the only one to have achieved this rank! 1% of all students in a legit combative will ever make it to this achievement... welcome to the elite Savanah your journey has really just begun! ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS! Windsor/Essex County has finally been permitted to progress to stage 3! Hybrid Training Academy MMA and Fitness Centres and its staff is... beyond elated to put our family back together again! The gyms are scrubbed and ready with WECHU COVID Protocol firmly in place! Starting this Wednesday, August 12 we will begin our modified schedule at both our Windsor and Lakeshore locations! All classes will run as per our regular allotted days and times with these small modifications to ensure a safe transition for all of our members. Kids classes will run 45 minutes 6:00-6:45 M-T Adult Mixed 7-8 M-T Sat Kids 10-10:45 We will be suspending our 8 oclock class while we assess to ensure the health and safety of all of our members and visitors and will bring it back once the situation normalizes. Please note there will be some changes in the functionality of returning. We will be in strong compliance with our public health officials and the directives that they have set for the fitness industry. Both our locations will ensure student tracking at the door, thermal checks, social distancing, handwashing and use of masks where appropriate. As an active frontline member of the healthcare team I will personally be assessing and monitoring this to ensure our safe transition. All memberships will be re-instated as of Aug 15. This has been a very long and trying time but we are excited to see all of our HTA family! We welcome back all new students for your free week trial. Hey guys good morning. I sent you guys out some emails concerning important information and online training lessons. Please dont hesitate to contact me if you have any questions related to techniques I will be more than happy to answer them for you.

A message to my Hybrid Training Academy family from Coach LaBute. The events that have unfolded in recent weeks are unprecedented. The future of our community a...nd the health of our love ones especially those that are the most susceptible is at risk! Most of our membership is unaware that in addition to being co-owner of HTA and head of our striking programs I am also a frontline Registered Respiratory Therapist in the fight against COVID-19. I am seeing first hand the public health emergency unfold and I cant stress enough that the danger is real and to listen to your health professionals! Being part of the frontline response teams I have never seen such an amazing choreography of hospitals and public health services in my 25 year career! I am beyond proud of the outstanding job of my fellow Respiratory Therapists, Nurses, Doctors, Allied Health professionals and our local health systems are doing and even more proud to be a part of it! We can overcome this but our healthcare team needs your help! This has the potential to be the worst pandemic of our times or we could be the champions of our own fate. The future of this pandemic and the outcome of our community health is literally in your hands! Only your diligence in hand washing, social distancing, and the adherence to all public health directives will flatten the curve. I would like to send my love to all our loyal members, their families, and to say thank you for sticking with us and for all the love and support our members have shown! We ask that you have patience with the current situation and that we will work in tandem with the provincial programs to be there for our members and soften the losses we are all experiencing. I also ask that as proud HTA members that you set an example to those around you and stay at home!
