Why are we doing in-person and online classes this Fall? The main reason can be found in this photo. While we so look forward to welcoming families in-person in... September, if we don't have an online option, we'll have families and teachers who will be denied the Kindermusik experience altogether due to critical reasons like having immunocompromised family members. And we strongly believe this isn't okay. So no matter what this Fall brings, we'll be here, making sure that Kindermusik is available to all our youngest humans and their families. See more

One of the best things about music is the power it has to get us through the tough times. I have always loved choral singing, and can’t quite wrap my head and heart around the idea that we may not be able to join our voices in song in person for a long time. When I saw Eric Whitacre had started a virtual choir for a piece he composed specifically for quarantine times I couldn’t sign up to participate fast enough. Although it isn’t quite the same as singing shoulder to shoulder, the feeling of togetherness is still there when I listen to the finished product. Well, Prelude Studios has officially expanded again! We are now offering Kindermusik classes for ages 0-7. We are teaching online classes and play dates over the summer, and in September we are planning to offer a mixture of online and in-person classes.
